It has seemingly been long assumed that women will be content with shoddily-designed timepieces devoid of soul, providing of course that they are pink and have loads of precious stones set on them. We know this to be nonsense — a lady’s watch shouldn't be any less considered than a man’s, and we seek out examples of watches done right, regardless of intended gender.
In spite of the unique design, this piece still preserves many of the aspects of classic Cartier that we love to see: a Roman-numeral and beautiful guilloché dial, blued steel hands, a petite Cartier logo, a date window above 6 o’clock, and a blue, shaped sapphire crown. All in all, they serve as a reminder that the watch is backed by a name with an unrivaled history for fine jewelry making , and yes — fine watchmaking, too.
